Qantas and Accor have today announced the details of their new partnership, which was first flagged late last year. It will see members of the companies’ loyalty programs simultaneously earn both Qantas Points and ALL – Accor Live Limitless Reward Points on both Accor hotel bookings and Qantas flight bookings when they link their accounts.
QFF members will earn 3 Qantas Points per $1 spent with the hotel group, in addition to the usual ALL Reward Points. Stays must be booked directly with Accor or travel agencies connected automatically to the Accor booking office. Stays booked through a reseller, tour operator or third-party online travel agency are not eligible.
You can book through Qantas Hotels and earn 1 bonus Qantas Point in addition to the usual 3 points per A$1 spent, but you won’t be eligible for ALL Reward points and Status Nights with your stay.
Meanwhile, Accor ALL members will earn 2 Reward Points per $1 spent with the airline on bookings (excluding taxes and fees) so long as they are Qantas Platinum or Platinum One members, or Accor ALL Gold, Platinum or Diamond members. This is in addition the usual Qantas Points earned. ALL Reward Points are convertible to Qantas Points at a 1:1 rate.
Qantas Frequent Flyer Gold members (and above) and Points Club Plus members will automatically reach ALL Silver status after their first stay booked directly with Accor or via ‘traditional’ travel agents. Qantas Points Club members will reach ALL Silver status after two stays of at least two nights. Silver benefits include early and/or late checkout and a welcome drink.
Once you have linked your accounts, Accor Plus members who are over 18, with Gold status and above and who reside in Australia will get complimentary Qantas Wine Premium membership. This will be automatically activated within 14 days following successful linking of accounts.
