Qantas is offering 50% more status credits for new flight bookings made by members of its loyalty program for small and medium sized businesses, Qantas Business Rewards (QBR).
QBR is a program that rewards businesses with savings on flights and Qantas Points on purchases. Membership normally costs $89.50 but this is waived for the next week if you join here.
Any business with an ABN can join, including sole traders.
I’m a member of QBR and really enjoy earning points both as an individual and as a business when flying with Qantas. You can read my overview of how QBR works here.
To take advantage of the 50% bonus status credit offer, you must register here first and book an eligible flight between 12 – 19 June 2018 for travel by 31 August 2018.
An eligible flight for the purpose of this promotion means any Qantas operated flight with a QF flight number on the ticket where status credits are normally earned. Flights can be booked via qantas.com, a travel agent or Qantas Contact Centres.
Under the QBR program terms and conditions, the travel needs to be for business purposes, though you don’t need to prove this upfront.
Once the business is registered, everyone who travels on an eligible Qantas flight and enters their business’ ABN and individual Qantas Frequent Flyer number will earn 50% more status credits (i.e. anyone travelling under your business ABN can earn bonus status credits under this promotion).
If you have travel plans in mind for the next few months, this could be a handy way to boost your status credits and earn or maintain elite status with Qantas.
